Wow, you've got to love this diet. No, i must not call it that as it clearly is not a diet, it's a fantastic way of eating. Let me journal my intake for today, I'm full but just thinking about it makes me want to eat more.
Breakfast
Fatty bacon, two egg blue cheese omelet cooked in the bacon fat, espresso coffee with heavy cream.
I'm thinking about 600 kcals only about 3g of carbs and about 25g of protein.
Lunch
Fat Shake - avocado, cashews, coconut oil, coconut cream, whipping cream and ice.
This was my first attempt and i know it can be better. but this was the best shake i've ever had!!
i'm guessing about 800 kcal about 10g carbs and about 12g of protein
Dinner
Haven't got there yet but i've bought a steak and expect to bbq it. i found a really fatty piece to it can be a bit bigger than usual without the protein hit. will do some greens in butter to go with it. top off the steak with some garlic butter.
I love this, i have been having full meals averaging about 2,500 kcal per day much more than i usually eat when trying to lose weight. now i feel great because i'm always feed but still losing weight. i feel that my body composition is also changing as my pants are much looser then two weeks ago however i actually weigh the same. i think i can put on a bit more muscle given the caloric content and the fact that the amino acids in my system are not being burned.
I'm really excited to see how this progresses. will attempt three 16 hour fasts next week, i think the results will be interesting. the following week i'm going for two 24 hour fasts.
This is my journey from a fat and horribly unfit person to the exact opposite. High Fat Low Carb is a significant element in my strategy - here I will journal my findings about HFLC, my results and failures, training and activities and food solutions including recipes and strategies for difficult situations. I will also share any interesting posts from others that I feel relevant.
It is my intention to inspire and educate others to what is achievable. To help change the mindset in relation to food which has harmed so many for so long.
I hope that others will contribute and share the journey along the way.
